Zhao'an Sino Ocean Scenery: A Chinese-Style Villa Inspired by Ink Wash Paintings

A Distinctive Living Space Immersed in Oriental Aesthetics

Located in Zhao'an County, Fujian Province, the Zhao'an Sino Ocean Scenery villa stands as a testament to the rich artistic heritage of the region. The designers have skillfully incorporated the plain and simple features of ink wash paintings, using ochre and cyan colors to create an elegant and understated ambiance.

The villa spans 300 square meters and features four floors, each with its own unique character and purpose. On the top floor, the master room exudes a sense of tranquility with its plain hues and minimalistic furniture. The focus here is on simplicity, avoiding excessive decorations.

The elder's room showcases patterns inspired by auspicious clouds, plum blossom branches, and birds, creating a space filled with cultural symbolism and traditional motifs. The attention to detail extends to every corner of the villa, from the lamp fixtures to the themed toys in the children's rooms.

In the boy's room, simple lines and specific themed decorations create a playful and imaginative space. On the other hand, the girl's room features soft curves in the furniture and ornaments, with pink as the main hue, creating a harmonious and whimsical atmosphere.

The designers have realized this unique design using a combination of materials such as black and white marble, stainless steel, and grey wood grain. These materials not only enhance the aesthetics of the villa but also contribute to its durability and functionality.

One of the standout features of the Zhao'an Sino Ocean Scenery villa is its ability to immerse occupants in a natural environment. Decorative paintings depicting mountains and rivers, simplistic Chinese-style furniture, and oriental wooden ornaments all contribute to this immersive experience.

The living room, with its open design and carved wood partition wall, strikes a balance between independence and connection with other spaces. This thoughtful layout allows for a seamless flow between different areas while maintaining a sense of privacy and individuality.

The Zhao'an Sino Ocean Scenery villa project began in February 2020 and was completed in June 2020 in Fujian Province, China. The design team, led by Y. Design, overcame various challenges to transform the original monolithic building into a comfortable and functional villa suitable for multi-generational living.

This exceptional design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation. The Zhao'an Sino Ocean Scenery villa was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges the villa's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements.
